Home Ground, Brighton College 12.30pm Kick Off
Your Association is appealing for fit(ish) and able bodies to hurl themselves into the field of battle, with little or no regard for their personal safety or self-esteem, in the name and memory of our late and dear friend, Peter Rumney (H. 1937-39). If you feel you fit this description, and are free to turn out in indecently short shorts in public, then please contact either John Aiken on 07715 580990 or

Old Brightonian Rugby Club will be playing Old Reigatians at 12.30pm, before the 1st XV kick-off at 2.30pm in their first match of the new season against Reigate Grammar School.
Peter Rumney (H. 1937-39) was a lifelong supporter of the school but he is best remembered for his involvement in Sussex rugby and, more especially, Old Brightonian rugby. He was the driving force behind the re-forming of the Old Brightonian Rugby Club in 1959 after it had ceased to exist during the Second World War. His widow, Mary, and her family will be joining us as our special guests.
