The Association is delighted to announce that this year's guest speaker is OB Emma Wimhurst (F. 1982-84). Emma is an Entrepreneur, a Motivational Speaker, a Business Mentor, Author and Business Turnaround Expert. Emma won her right to be in the "entrepreneurial hall of fame" with the success of her own multi-million pound cosmetic company, Diva Cosmetics, which she grew from a start-up to a several million pound turnover in year 4.
She is author of BOOM! 7 Disciplines to CONTROL, GROW and ADD IMPACT to Your Business, (Diva Publishing Ltd, November 2009). The Foreword is written by Edwin Booth, Chairman of Booths Supermarkets with endorsements from Mike Southon, FT Columnist & author of The Beermat Entrepreneur and Saira Khan, TV Presenter. Emma is creator of the BOOM!preneur Philosophy & Methodology - a 7-step plan for enabling entrepreneurs to apply the wow factor to their business and enterprises.
