I still keep in touch with James Brenan (S 1972-77) who was my best man 19 years ago! Apart from that, I've lost touch with everyone from school days. Still living in Bath, coaching boys football (though I didn't even get in the school team!) and playing golf whenever possible. Looking forward to being made redundant from an IT job next summer. Planning a long holiday with the family (wife and two boys now 11 and 15).

For almost thirty years I have been a very active Rotarian and in 1993 at the World Rotary Congress in Melbourne I, together with Geoffrey Pike a former World Vice President, founded the International Fellowship of Cricket Loving Rotarians (IFCR). For nearly nine years I was the inaugural Secretary in Australia and in 2001 at the age of 81 decided that it was time to retire. For the work that I did in developing IFCR in Australia I was honoured to be made an Honorary World Life Vice President of IFCR. During my time as Australian Secretary I organised and managed a number of games throughout Australia and took four IFCR touring sides to the UK as manager. Over the past ten years I and my fellow Rotarians have enjoyed being hosted by UK Rotarians and have made life long friendships. I now correspond with some 120 Rotarian families every Christmas. The first game of cricket in the UK for our IFCR Tour was at at Brighton College in June 1994. John Leach was extremely kind and gave us permission to play against a Sussex/Kent Rotary side on the school ground.

I was a boarder at the College from 1933-1937. I had two years in Wilsons House with Rev. Bill Williams as House Master, with R.E. Lester (Teddy) as his Deputy and two and half years in Chichester House with Arthur Hayes Belcher as House Master and T.A. (Tubby) Hill as his Deputy and for a term in 1937 Frank Holdgate as House Master. I am a life member of the O.B.A. and have lived in Adelaide, South Australia for over forty five years.

In conclusion I would mention that I served in the British Army from December 1939 to May 1946, with the BEF in France, at the Dunkirk evacuation and in India and Burma. I was very proud to have served most of that time as a commissioned Officer in The Gordon Highlanders, alas now disbanded.

I would be very pleased to meet any OB's who may come to Adelaide.

We were dating 2 years off and on, but were friends for 4 years before that having gone to law school together.

All my male friends are lamenting my "demise." I think they used to vicariously relive their single lives through me.

Her engagement ring is spectacular... it's amazing what Walmart does with cut glass nowadays!
