The OB Pelicans and supporters arrived at East Grinstead on Sunday morning in the driving rain. After a delay to assess the pitches, it was decided that, despite the conditions, the tournament would go ahead. Only 12 teams were available so the draw was re-organised and we played the Marauders first. Despite a try by Ryan Bhimji, we lost to the semi-professional Marauders 10 - 5.
Congratulations to Harry Leonard (A. 2005-10) who captained the under 20 Scotland team to victory against Italy on Friday 16th March in the final round of the Six Nations under-20 championship. Congratulations from the Old Brightonians and the College.
To celebrate the 99 terms of service that the ever popular John Spencer has undertaken at the College from 1978 to his retirement at the end of the Summer Term 2012 we are holding an OBs vs 1st XI 20:20 match on Friday 29th June at 3pm on the Home Ground, Brighton College followed by drinks in The Sammy Woods Pavilion.

Nik Pass (A. 2007-09) Deputy Head of School 2009-10 and 2010 leaver made his debut for England Students at Rugby Union this weekend against France in Lille. He is currently at Newcastle University and played for the 1st XV for two years. Congratulations from the Old Brightonians and the College.
