Sarah Williams (C. 1999-04) progresses to the Live stages of South Coast Idol
Sarah has made it through from over 10,000 singers and bands across the country to the Live stages of Live & Unsigned "South Coast Idol".
The competition is the biggest music talent contest for bands and solo artists outside of TV’s X-Factor. Sarah made it through the auditions at Brighton, where hundreds queued patiently for their turn in front of the Judges. She sang an acapella version of Coldplay’s "Fix You", and is now preparing for the Live stages where she will compete amongst twenty other hopefuls in the Over 17 Category, on Friday 30th March at the Concorde 2 in Brighton for a place in the Regional Final.
Having grown up in Brighton and being involved within music and performing her entire life, "South Coast Idol" seemed like the perfect opportunity to get involved with the competition and also gain some valuable industry experience.
