The OB office is sad to report the death of Mrs Margaret Ridler, who died peacefully at home on Wednesday 22 June, aged 86.
In the late 70s and early 80s, she taught A Level maths part time and will be remembered by her former pupils as a quiet and conscientious teacher with a sincere concern for their welfare. She was a keen supporter of the College’s Choral Society, which continued for many years after she left.
Her husband John was the Head of Modern Languages at the College for many years, before retiring himself in 1992.
We extend our sympathies to him and his family.
