On Thursday 12th May, we welcomed the Pioneers Club at the College, which is for Old Brightonians aged 60 and over. The ages of those who attended spanned from an Old Brightonian who left in 1940 to one who left in 1973!
The Pioneers were given a tour of the Music School by our music scholars and enjoyed an impressive piano performance by Berniya Hamie in the Sarah Abraham Recital Hall. A short service led by Father Robert followed at the Chapel, where hymns were sung and the OBs were able to reflect on the good times they spent at the school. They then went on to the Ginger Dog for a delicious lunch, where they reminisced happily over a glass of wine with their former schoolmates and shared their fascinating stories with current HMs and staff members.
Thank you to all those who attended. We hope you had a great time catching up with old friends. We hope to see you again next year!
