Following in the tradition of our OB Oxbridge Dinners, the OB London Universities Dinner is a fantastic opportunity for our alumni studying at universities in London to reunite and hear about recent news from their old school.
This year, this special event will be hosted by our fabulous Head of Sixth Form, Mr Alex Patton, at Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon, London on Friday 2nd November 2018.
And it really is always a very special evening, where our young Old Brightonians can reconnect their friends and (old) teachers, but also with Brighton. Your time at school was without a doubt one of great importance, your decisions and actions had an influence on where you find yourself today and although you no longer walk through the Quad everyday to lessons, you are still very much part of our Brighton community. Not only does this event give you the opportunity to see your old classmates, but also gives you the chance to meet other OBs who were perhaps in different years to you, as well as those who are no longer studying but are based in London post university.
"I have been attending this annual event since I started my undergraduate degree at UCL. This year was particularly nostalgic for me, as it is my last year at university. What I love most about OB events is the strong sense of community, as we are all connected by our time at the College, and at this particular dinner, our experience of studying in London. The OB community is special, and something one often lacks at university, especially in a big city like London, so I always look forward to attending OB events. As always, it was lovely to catch up with old friends as well as foster new friendships"- Shaan Bains (Ch. 2010-15)
