The Brigh10 Lecture Series is a series encouraging our whole Brighton College community to engage with a diverse and varied set of speakers and topics. 

All the lectures are now virtual, and so you will be able to tune in wherever you are in the world. All the lectures run from 4.10 pm - 5 pm.

Monday 16th November
Lord Robert Skidelsky
is emeritus professor of political economy at Warwick University. His three-volume biography of John Maynard Keynes (1983,1992, 2000) won five prizes and his book on the financial crisis – Keynes: The Return of the Master – was published in September 2010. He was made a member of the House of Lords in 1991 will speak on ‘History and Culture: A troubled relationship’.

Born in Bangladesh, raised in Newcastle and currently residing in the outskirts of Manchester, Burhana Islam is a storyteller who is passionate about exploring themes of heritage, belonging, identity and faith in both her children’s and young adult works.
