As part of our commemorations of Brighton College's 175th anniversary, our College Archivist, James Harrison, gave a wonderful Zoom presentation on the history of the College.

His lecture provided an entertaining and informative overview of the College’s history, from its foundation in 1845, through periods of prosperity and near-bankruptcy, before navigating the dangers of the Great Depression and two World Wars, and finally by covering its recent successes amidst Brighton's own transformations as a City.

He spoke about the colourful individuals, events, and architecture that have helped to make Brighton College the success story it is today.

If you missed the talk, you can watch it below. If you want to get in touch with James, he can be reached via the Archive contact page.
