Following the truly awful tragedy that unfolded during the Shoreham Air Show that took the lives of so many - including young footballer Jacob Schilt as he travelled to play for Worthing United - the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund is organising a sponsored walk from the crash site to the Worthing ground, thus covering the journey that Jacob didn't finish.

The charity helps lesser privileged children enjoy their football, and was set up in honour of a Old Brightonian Robert Eaton (H. 1977-80) who was himself killed in the Twin Towers attack in 2001.

Brighton College librarian Simon Ashdown is joining the walkers and invites us all to show support by sponsoring his efforts on his JustGiving page.
