Brighton College Dubai has opened its doors this week, with a capacity for 2,000 boys and girls aged 3 to 18 on an iconic 40,000 square-metre campus in the centre of one of the world’s most dynamic and innovative cities.
The new school will offer its pupils the full Brighton College experience and will seek to emulate the successes of our first two sister schools in the UAE – Brighton College Abu Dhabi, which opened in 2011, and Brighton College Al Ain, which was launched in 2013. Between them, they educate 2,500 boys and girls and are both rated among the leading schools of the Middle East. Our third sister school, Brighton College Bangkok, opened in the Thai capital lastSeptember.
With their first week of school at Brighton College Dubai over, we are thrilled to hear that the campus is vibrant with new friendships and pupils ready to make an important step in their future academic careers.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome our first pupils into our brand-new campus in Dubai, as they begin their journey of academic excellence with Brighton College Dubai. Our main focus this week, is to settle in our pupils into their new nurturing environment. We will do so by phasing in each year group over the week, and welcoming parents too, creating the foundations for our community of kindness."
