Mark Simmonds (Al. 1976-81) has published a book called 'Breakdown and Repair', which chronicles two experiences Mark has had regarding mental health.

The first experience was as a sufferer, when Mark suffered a work-related breakdown in 2001. The second experience was as a carer, when his daughter had anorexia from 2012-2017.

His book brings both episodes to life very openly and honestly. By collaborating with the illustrator, Lucy Streule, his aim is to make the topic of mental health accessible to all by exploring the light side of darkness.

Breakdown and Repair: A Father's Tale of Stress and Success (The Inspirational Series) can be purchased here.
