Peter D'este Eastes (Ha. 1963-68) died on Sunday 29th June - St Peter’s Day. He was 75.

He was a day pupil in Hamden House, a keen rugby player and an active member of the Army Section of the College CCF and was selected for Army Cadet Training at Thetford.  Upon leaving the College in 1968 he studied architecture at Oxford Polytechnic, now Oxford Brookes. He then enjoyed a career with Knight Frank & Rutley based in Mayfair and was involved in the re-development of Covent Garden following the closure of the fruit and vegetable market. Subsequently he worked in private practice as a Chartered Surveyor in the Farnham area.

Peter leaves behind his wife Shelagh and their children Kate, Kirsty and Jonathan.

The family of Peter Eastes will be holding a Celebration of Life service for Peter on Friday 8th August at 1pm at GreenAcres Heatherley Park, Headley Down, Hampshire, GU35 8LA and then for refreshments afterwards at The Star Inn, Main Road, Bentley, Hampshire, GU10 5LW.
