 1200x900 Lucy Beauvallet2

It was a pleasure to welcome Lucy Beauvallet (Ne. 2008–14) back to the Richard Cairns Theatre this week to speak with current Sixth Form pupils about careers in finance.

Representing Morgan Stanley, Lucy offered a candid and practical perspective on working in a highly competitive industry. She spoke about routes into finance, the importance of resilience, and how pupils can make the most of opportunities both at school and beyond. Drawing on her professional experience as well as her own time at the College, her reflections resonated strongly with pupils considering a similar path.

Lucy was the very first Head of House of New House, and her return highlighted the enduring strength of our College community. Morgan Stanley continues to support pupils each year as they begin to explore the complex and demanding world of financial services, and we are grateful for this ongoing partnership.

We extend our thanks to Lucy and to all OBs who remain actively involved in College life through mentorship. As preparations begin for our annual Futures Conference in May, visits visits like these serve as a timely reminder that giving back to the College is about far more than financial support. The gift of time, experience and thoughtful advice has a lasting impact on pupils as they make important decisions about their futures.
