Nick Brice (Le. 1972-76)

We are pleased to share that Nick Brice (Le. 1972-76) is once again delighting audiences at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with The Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show®, running from 30 July to 25 August (excluding 13th & 18th).

Now in its 19th successful year, the show has become something of a Fringe institution, offering three fresh rotating menus of short plays — each featuring an uplifting mix of 10 to 15-minute comedies, dramas, and theatrical surprises.  And what makes it even more special? Each morning performance is served with complimentary tea or coffee, croissants, and strawberries – the perfect way to start the day.

Nick, the show's Founder-Chairman, continues to champion the power of live theatre to entertain and connect people. Over the years, The Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show® has drawn in thousands of early risers, helping launch careers and build community through shared storytelling.

As Nick says, “Thank you. All of you. From the bottom of our hearts, for the most fantastic journey. A journey that is only just beginning.”

If you’re heading to Edinburgh this August, be sure to pop in and support a fellow OB – and enjoy a morning of brilliant theatre and warm hospitality.

A recent review for the Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show (Menu 2):

This great set of five sketches were about: a man’s plan to propose on a Ferris wheel; as a volunteer, an actor offers to apply his craft to a food bank line; a mundane package delivery initiates mayhem; the last wishes of their close friend reveal the latent differences among three longtime girlfriends; and a climate change denying American TV news duo contends with an English weatherman who is a scientist.  Each of the five evolves in a funny but reasonable fashion.  There were all humorous through and through.” - Fringe Fan
