Earlier this week, four Old Brightonians reunited in Oxford for a special lunch — a remarkable 70 years after they left Brighton College. The group first forged their friendship in the 1950s, and decades later, it is wonderful to see the gang back together again.
Neville Abraham (Br 1950-55) shared this photo from their recent gathering, accompanied by a treasured throwback photo of the same group taken during their school days.
Pictures like these remind us that whether it is in the classroom, or on muddy sports fields, the friendships built at Brighton College stretch far beyond school gates and can last a lifetime.
Pictured left to right in both the 1950s and 2025: Keith Waddell (Br. 1950-55) , Peter Clarke (Al. 1950-54) (Holding the photo taken in the 1950s), John Flood (Sc. 1950-54) and Neville Abraham (Br 1950-55).
